Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station and very close to Bayswater tube. It's just a short walk away from the subway station. 🚇

The quality of the room I have been given was truly well below standards, according to the high rate they have charged. - The window didn’t close and I spent all night with wind flowing over my face; - the kitchen didn’t have any curtain at the window, nor any door. So, light from the rear street entered the sleeping room, directly on my face - the bathroom was very uncomfortable (so small that it was very difficult to enter, trying to slide next to the door..) and had a the power source that didn’t workile - because of the lack of electricity in the bathroom, I had to shave me in the sleeping room, without any mirror (no comment) - there was only one towel available, forcing one to choose whether to use it for the face or the body - the room didn’t even offer any shampoo: if you pay 80£ you expect to find at least a single-use dose. This is a list of objective problems. I do not comment the quality of the room, furnitures, etc.

The location
Having to change rooms after the first night because they were overbooked. Water leaking through the ceiling onto the bed on the last night of our stay!

Very conveniently located - 5 mins from 2 central tube stations. Easy access to most popular tourist sites in London. Little kitchenette is very handy for making breakfast and small meals. Close to supermarket and take away restaurants and a little pub next door.
Only down sides are the noise of traffic as it is located on busy Bayswater Road and 20 minute wait for hot water between baths/showers. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and found it extremely convenient in many ways. The reception staff are slightly distant as they are in a cabin entrance so you can't really see them as you come & go but they were kind enough to order a taxi for us.

The WiFi was very good. Kitchen was small but more than enough for two people. Bed was fairly comfortable. Good location.
The shower head was not mobile enough. The rest of the bathroom facilities were a bit dated. The kitchen was lacking some basic utensils, like scissors.

The house keeping was very prompt and did a great job
The receptionist, Mandy was rather rude and seemed very insincere.

Totally unfriendly and unprofessional staff; too expensive, for what you get back; too small apartments; kitchen not cleaned at all.

Clean room, heating working separately for each room, kitchen with all necessary equipments, free internet connection, possible to save baggage before and after staying in hotel without any extra cost. Good position for London trips - close to the center, near Hyde Park. Even if this hotel is situated above a tube line, it was not so noisy. I can recommend it.
Room on ground floor is in fact underground - photography on internet are not from rooms, offered through Booked.net server. So, don´t expect such a good quality level as is presented on photography.

My room was spacious, and I liked the fact that there was cleaning every day, including the washing of the dishes. The towels were changed everyday and the sheets every 3 days. It was also well located between Hyde Park and Notting Hill, with a choice of restaurants in the neighborhood. All in all a good deal for the price.
The internet was not working optimally at all times, but the reception helped when there was a problem with the connection.
